Yong Yello Ambassador for Record Store Day 2026

This year, Yong Yello is the Belgian ambassador for Record Store Day, which will be celebrated on Saturday 18 April 2026. To mark the occasion, an exclusive 7-inch single will be released, available free of charge and exclusively to the first 1,000 Record Store Day customers at their local independent record store.

Yong Yello:

Exclusive 7-inch: Zoeke naar wa liefde

The first 1,000 customers who make a purchase on Saturday 18 April at one of the participating record stores will receive a unique 7-inch vinyl single. Specially for Record Store Day, Yong Yello went into the studio with Glints to record a new version of the song ‘Zoeke naar wa liefde’.

The A-side features the studio version, while the B-side includes a live version recorded at De Roma. ‘Zoeke naar wa liefde’ finds comfort in connection rather than achievement — a theme that perfectly aligns with the spirit of Record Store Day.
