#PlayLocal: listen to Belgian music and support Belgian artists

Much of the world comes to a standstill. Now more than ever are we in need of music in our lives, but not just any music, Belgian music! Belgian artists have always been there for us. During ups and lows. From the comforting My Heroics, Part One on a melancholic evening to the exhilarating Pump Up the Jam on the dance floor. In these troubling times we need music more than ever. And Belgian artists need you more than ever. The solution is simple, right?

#PlayLocal

Buying local is important to keep the Belgian economy going. To support and help each other. In addition to the noble #shoplocal, we also advocate #playlocal. Put on Belgian music. We have the time for it, music makes you happy and you support artists with this action.

Stream Hard Times from The Scabs or Naar De Wuppe from Het Zesde Metaal, depending on your mood. Put on Housewife while picking up the vacuum cleaner. Shout I Can't Live in a Living Room if you can’t take it anymore. Send Eenzaam Zonder Jou to your Tinderdate and Ik Hou van U to your grand-mother in the retirement home. Put on a CD or vinyl record. Do it all, but do it Belgian. The artists will thank you when this is all over with strong new records, sizzling performances and timeless classics.

Quarantine record

Four years ago, on March 22nd, Imagine became the song of consolation. Let the quarantine plate be a Belgian one. Because we have damn good music.
