BRMA Awards honors Sylvie Kreusch for her album Comic Trip

Second edition of the Belgian Recorded Music Association Awards celebrates excellence in the Belgian music industry at Maison de la Poste in Tour & Taxis.

Brussels, December 3, 2025 – The Belgian Recorded Music Association (BRMA) once again presented four awards during the second edition of the BRMA Awards to recognize and celebrate valuable contributions to the Belgian music industry.

The main prize of the evening, Album of the Year, went to Sylvie Kreusch for her album Comic Trip, which also comes with a cash prize of €10,000. The professional jury honored Comic Trip as the most impressive and influential album of the year.

The album was praised for its distinctive artistic vision, its refreshing sound, and the way Kreusch once again succeeds in pushing boundaries. According to the jury, Comic Trip stands out through a rare combination of creativity, authenticity, and craftsmanship, and embodies the innovative spirit that makes the Belgian music scene so special.

In addition to the main prize, three other awards were presented. Universal Music Belgium received the Most Creative Campaign award for their striking and innovative approach to Tourist LeMC's Alles onder controle. The Amplifier Award went to Music Mania Gent, in recognition of their ongoing commitment to strengthening the Belgian music ecosystem and serving as a catalyst for new growth. Finally, Jo Casters (CNR) received the Spotlight Award for his years of invaluable behind-the-scenes contributions—a career that reflects vision, craftsmanship, and an unwavering passion for Belgian music.
